Wine made with selected grapes from centuries-old vineyards, acquired from local winegrowers who own vineyards between 100-120 years old, very close to us. A select, manual harvest is carried out in boxes of 15 kilos. Subsequently, a manual de-stemming and crushing are carried out with great care to obtain this unique nectar. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in its own French oak barrels. Constant battonage is carried out in the process of its elaboration. In this wine the artisanal part is unified with the highest quality.
Attractive dark ruby red color, with elegant cardinal flashes, high, closed robe.
Complex and ripe on the nose, this wine displays fine notes of good evolution, smoke, leather, fig bread, tobacco, cedar, cigar box, with a touch of spice, (nutmeg, cloves), black fruit (plum, blueberries) , echoes of white truffle and undergrowth.
The majestic tannin is supported by a great wood. The warm fruit is given more juiciness and shape, and the body, more elegance, resulting altogether tasty, broad, well structured, with a silky and intense mid palate. Aromatic finish on tobacco, pebbles and roasted coffee. Very elegant and with the persistence of a unique terroir.
Ideal wine to sit at the table with stewed red meats or barbecues, very spicy; rissoto, game meat, aged or blue cheeses. Also with very fatty fish.
