2018 SOLAR DE SAMANIEGO RESERVA, DOC, RIOJA: Tempranillo: 13.5% Vol.

LImited production selling just 900 boxes.  Solar de Samaniego Reserva  is a Rioja red wine framed in our Drink Between the Lines project, a fusion of the cultures of wine and literature, and made in collaboration with writers, some of them winners of the Solar de Samaniego Novel Prize. It is produced only in a limited edition and the label varies according to the honored writer, as it incorporates an original and exclusive text that the author creates for Solar de Samaniego. This wine is made with Tempranillo grapes from our best vineyards, and a small proportion of Graciano grapes, a variety that gives it intense notes of colour and aroma and tannic nuances of liquorice.

The selected fruits undergo alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures, malolactic fermentation and subsequent ageing in French oak barrels for at least 12 months. These are followed by the same number of permanence in the bottle, where the wine finishes refining and rounding to reach the highest quality in its glass.
