Domaine Mont Plo
Situated close to the village of Cruzy, the estate was found by the Consul family in 2003. Now run by Jean Michel, the estates vineyards are situated on clay and stony soils at an altitude of +200 meters. I have initially gone with the main red wine from the Domaine, Cuvee Louise ,which is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan from the 2013 vintage.
Domaine du Sacre Coeur
Established in 1991 on the outskirts of the village of Assignan, the Domaine has been run by Luc Cabaret since 2007. The vineyards, covering 40ha, are planted in mainly clay and limestone soils and include 100 year old Carignan vines. The wines have chosen include a Rose, Muscat de St Jean and their premier red Cuvee JM, named after Luc’s grandfather
