2018 Gran Lerma, DO Arlanza, Bodegas Lerma: 100% Tempranillo: 14.5% Vol.

Made from vines in excess of 80 years old on south facing slopes located in the surroundings of the Ducal Village. No synthetic herbicides or chemical fertilizers are used. Harvest usually takes place in the second week of October. The malolactic fermentation takes place in french oak barrels and the wine is aged for 24 months in these same barrels. The wine has a garnet colour with an aroma redolent of aromatic herbs and spicy notes reminiscent of cloves. The palate has great depth, is long lasting and has a good balance. Fresh and pleasant with notes of mature tannins.
