Vin Santo 2008


Vin Santo del Chianti Rufina: Grape varieties 60% Sangiovese, 20% Canaiolo and 20% Malvasia Toscana. 17% by volume.

The grapes are picked late October and are then placed on mats to dry until January. Soft pressure is then applied to extract the must which is then decanted for at least 8 years in oak and chestnut. Clear amber liquid with golden tones. Intense honey, nuts, resin and chestnut aromas. Creamy &  oily on the palate, it imbues long lasting rich flavours.
